Donati Spa began in 1946 at Lumezzane in 1946 and today is a specialist company in hot pressing and machining copper alloy mechanical components.

The roots go back to the thirties when Giovanni Donati began to cast brass in a small workshop, below his house at the centre of the town. Very soon this activity was directed towards working to drawings, to satisfy customers’ individual requirements.


From the start of the nineties to-date, the company has been managed by the third generation of entrepreneurs and now satisfies an ever more demanding and global market.

Today it operates at Lumezzane in the new plant covering an area of more than 11,000 square metres, where there is a pressing department, a machining department and a control and quality department.As a result of effective development and investment, the company’s market stance is hallmarked by machinery capable of producing a vast range of quality and reliable products for the heating, plumbing, valve and tap industries.

The company has a workforce of around fifty persons and an annual turnover of 7 million Euro. It has never failed to invest in personnel training and organisation, in industrial automation integrated with the search for management and quality control in harmony with the fresh and stimulating demands of the global market.

The considerable experience gained throughout all these years has driven Donati Spa to direct its human resources and technology at fully satisfying its customers.

It does this by guaranteeing products to specific requests, in the shortest time possible and with high quality standards.
