Our Quality Management System
runs tests and analysis
of the incoming material
(certified and supplied by the best
manufacturers at international level)
in order to inspect the characteristics
and the chemical composition of the brass.
Further tests are carried out in-house
in our metallographic laboratory.
The incoming raw material
is identified and codified
to guarantee a total traceability
of the entire production cycle
Brass
We use any kind
of brass alloys
according to both
EU and non-EU norms.
CW617N – DW
This is the standard alloy. The most common and particularly suitable for the hot forging and machining processes thanks to its good deformability and machinability.
It has a reduced lead content, suitable for contact with drinking water (Pb < 2,2 % / Cu max 59 %).
CW 602 N
DZR alloy conforming to European standards (Pb < 2,8 % / Cu max 63 % / As max 0,15 %).
CW 625 N
DZR alloy with low lead release. It can replace CW602N for contact with drinking water (Pb < 1,6 % / Cu max 64 % / As max 0,15 %).
CW 626 N
DZR alloy with low lead release. It can replace CW602N for contact with drinking water (Pb < 1,7 % / Cu max 66 % / As max 0,15 %).
CW 724 R ECOBRASS
It is a particular lead-free alloy, suitable for materials in contact with water for human consumption (Pb < 0,09 % / Cu 76 % / Si 3 %).
CW 510 L
Brass alloy with low lead content, conforming to American standards for contact with drinking water (Pb ≤ 0,2 % / Cu max 59 %).
CW 511 L
DZR alloy with low lead content, conforming to USA standards for contact with drinking water (Pb ≤ 0,2 % / Cu max 63,5 % / As max 0,15 %).
